Terms of Service
By using the Rental Blacklist website, you agree to the terms set out below. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Effective as of July 11, 2026.
1. General provisions
By using the Rental Blacklist website (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read this agreement and agree to its terms. The administration may amend this agreement at any time; the current version is always available at this address.
2. Nature of the Service and status of published information
The Service is a platform that aggregates user reports about their personal experience with landlords and rental properties. Everything shown on the map and on property pages is information supplied by a specific submitting user and reflects that user's personal opinion and subjective experience. The administration is not the author of this information, does not independently verify the facts stated in submissions, and does not confirm their accuracy. Publishing a submission means only that it passed a basic moderation check against the Service's rules — not that the administration has established the truth of the facts stated.
3. Submitter obligations
By submitting a request, you warrant that: the information you provide is true and based on your personal experience or information you obtained in good faith; you are not seeking to defame or harm anyone without a factual basis; and you understand you may bear personal civil liability, and, where knowingly false statements are involved, criminal liability, for spreading inaccurate information. You are solely responsible for the content of your submission — see also the Submission Rules.
4. Moderation
Moderation checks submissions against formal rules — readability, absence of spam, profanity, and clearly unlawful content. Moderation is not, and cannot be, a verification of the facts stated by the submitter. A moderator's approval of a submission does not mean the administration confirms the truth of what it states.
5. Content rights
By publishing text, photos, or other materials through the Service, you grant the administration a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display them as part of operating the Service, including indexing by search engines. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the materials you publish.
6. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". The administration does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of information published by users, and is not liable for decisions visitors make based on it. A user who publishes inaccurate information is solely responsible for any claims or losses the administration incurs as a result of its publication.
7. Requests from people referenced in submissions
If you believe published information is inaccurate or infringes your rights, submit a dispute via the Feedback form with a link to the entry and the basis for your position. The administration may temporarily hide the entry pending review, ask the submitter for supporting evidence, edit it, or remove it entirely if its accuracy cannot be confirmed.
8. Restricting and terminating access
The administration may, without prior notice, restrict a user's access to the Service, or reject or remove any submission that violates this agreement or the Submission Rules.
9. Governing law
Nothing in this agreement limits any rights either party has under mandatory provisions of the law applicable where the Service is actually used.
10. Contact
For any questions about this agreement, please reach out via the Feedback form.
